Wednesday - With the recent conversion to Sterling CBC on June 27, preparation has begun for new CBC Aging Reporting for Volunteer Screening. It will be several weeks before this is enabled in MyBSA for Councils. The CBC Aging for First Advantage has been modified to remove from Aging all records for persons no longer holding active registrations in CBC-Required Positions. You will note this has reduced the Aging counts. Councils need to correct Validation Errors blocking CBC Submittals both for Sterling and for prior submittals as records may be submitted for CBC in the future. Most Errors are because of Missing SSN, Invalid Dates (DOB), Invalid Address (including having a Non-US Address), or No County Name. HINT: For Aged Records with Validation Errors, go to CBC, select this Reporting, and use Filter to set the parameters back to at least January 1, 2022, and enter Current Date and Run Report. Retain the Export File for use. First Advantage will be available to Councils until notified. The results of prior orders will continue to update as usual while there is availability. No new CBC orders were placed with First Advantage beginning on June 27.
