Wednesday - First Advantage AccessAs of January 1, 2024, there is no longer access to First Advantage – Volunteer Advantage from MyBSA2. First Advantage has discontinued access. The Sign In link will be removed from the CBC Portal and the Client ID and Password information in my.Scouting – CBC is no longer valid for use.Contacts by Sterling to provide Councils with updated CBC ReportsSterling is providing a new service to support BSA’s ongoing focus on safety. Sterling, our partner in processing CBC, will conduct monthly rechecks on CBC results for one year following the original CBC order date. Should a record be found upon recheck as Consider, the applicable Council is notified via email directly from Sterling.The email will be directed as Confidential to the Scout Executive. (If the SE position is Vacant, another Authorized User will be selected.)  Since these rechecks are completed through a different portal, you will not be able to access the results in Sterling. If needed, the original CBC is found through Advanced Search in the Sterling Client Hub.After reviewing the information in the email, determine if any further action is needed because of this information. Please file the email along with any comments to confirm the information was reviewed and what, if any, action was taken. This Email procedure being used by Sterling may be updated and any changes will be announced.
