The Sunday Bugler

Monday - The new CBC Aging Reporting for Volunteer Screening was enabled in MyBSA for Councils on Monday, July 24. This new Aging reporting for Sterling CBC replaces the Aging for First Advantage. All features of Aging Reports remain including the Link to CBC Aging by Person. This displays information on records submitted to Sterling that are in an Aging category. Reporting only includes persons who have active registrations in CBC-Required Positions. First Advantage will be available to Councils until notified. Prior orders will continue to update from First Advantage as usual while there is availability. No new CBC orders were submitted to First Advantage beginning on June 27. If there are records identified in Volunteer Advantage as Pending - Green, Manual Complete Date entry may proceed. If there are records identified as Pending - Red, then it is recommended that the Scout Executive (or designee) review before entering a Manual Complete Date. Date entry may use the latest Updated Date from the First Advantage record. IMPORTANT UPDATE TO CBC DOCUMENTATION: In the MyBSA CBC Portal for CBC Administrators, CBC Documentation is updated with current instructions for contacting Sterling to request Employment Background Screening, if desired. Councils using this service will be invoiced directly by Sterling for Employment Checks ordered.
