The Sunday Bugler

The conversion to Sterling CBC for Volunteer Screening will occur on Tuesday, June 27. All Councils should create an Export of Validation Errors from Registrar Tools – Criminal Background Checking – before this occurs. Councils need to check for and correct Validation Errors that block CBC Submittals. Most Errors are because of Missing SSN, Invalid Dates (DOB), Invalid Address (including having a Non-US Address), or No County Name. HINT: For Aged Records with Validation Errors, go to CBC, select this Reporting, and use Filter to set the parameters back to at least January 1, 2022, and enter Current Date and Run Report. Retain the Export File for use. Corrections should be made, insofar as possible, prior to June 27 and the conversion to Sterling. There will be updates to Volunteer Advantage Aging after the conversion is completed. There will also be new Aging Reporting for Sterling CBC that will become available in the weeks following the conversion to Sterling.
