This release includes online dues payment and new mobile app functionality! Lodges can now seamlessly and securely process online dues payments directly in the OA Member Portal and the OA Member App. The release includes several other bug fixes and improvements throughout OA LodgeMaster. For lodges who requested offline access, this version includes an update to the offline Lodge Client.Online Dues Payments Beginning today lodges can accept online dues payments directly in OA LodgeMaster from the OA Member Portal and OA Members mobile app. Payments are processed securely through the Scouting America Payment platform, eliminating any barriers to using the new dues payment feature. Lodge Administrators are advised to review the payment integration documentation. Setup is required prior to using the online dues payment feature.OA Members Mobile AppThe new OA Members Mobile App is now available! Download for Android on Google Play and from the Apple App Store for iOS. Access your member profile, pay your dues, view upcoming events from your lodge, section, region and the national organization. Access resources including member journeys for new Ordeal and Brotherhood candidates.Lodge Administrators can start adding app content to the app from within OA LodgeMaster. Go to the Mobile App module to add news, resources, and approve push messages. This release introduces a new email editor, a new adult nomination email, and numerous bug fixes and improvements.The new release includes a new email editor, which should be easier to use and work better with the rest of the interface. As part of the release, we’ve updated the OALM Data Retention policy found here. The image library has been removed from the email editor and image uploads will be stored per email. Previously uploaded images will be deleted along with the email they were sent in and emails will now be retained for two years. A cleanup process will start soon to cleanup emails older than two years.We also added a new adult nomination reminder email. Any user with view and/or view and edit permission will receive a weekly email for any pending adult nominations.A full list of bug fixes and improvements can be found on the LodgeMaster Documentation site. This release includes 25 improvements and corrects 82 bugs. The release also includes 3 new major features - the final pieces of the induction module and all related automated emails, member portal features for new members and brotherhood candidates, and the full release of the member portal for use by all members including membership cards and email unsubscribe links. For lodges who requested offline access, this version includes an update to the offline Lodge Client. Inductions Module All automated emails within the Inductions Module have now been enabled. As part of this release, we enabled the New Member Follow-up Message, Brotherhood Eligible Message, and Brotherhood Preparation Message. During this time, the OA LodgeMaster team will be deploying OA LodgeMaster 4.5.1. During the maintenance window, you will not be able to login to the LodgeMaster Online Lodge Client or perform a sync in the Offline Lodge Client. You can follow the status of the maintenance on the OA status page at https://status.oa-bsa.org. Once the maintenance is complete, we will post an update to the status page. We do not expect the upgrades to take the full 6 hours. In the event we need to extend the maintenance window for an unforeseen reason, we will communicate the extended maintenance window on the OA status page.Important notes about our OA LodgeMaster 4.5.1 release:We will be enabling the final three emails within the new Inductions Module. The New Member Follow-up Message, Brotherhood Eligible Message, and Brotherhood Preparation Message will be enabled as part of the 4.5.1 release. Details of these emails can be found here. Lodge Administrators should familiarize themselves with the details of these emails prior to the release.We will be adding a New Member Journey and Brotherhood Journey to the member portal. Please check with your lodge administrator if you use the offline lodge client to ensure that they have requested offline access. You will receive a warning message in the installer reminding you to sync before installing, this is very important, and you should make sure you have synced any changes before upgrading. Once you install and run version 4.5.1 your local database will be cleared and then updated with the new database structure and your lodge data will be downloaded again. Please let all your users know this important note. Failure to perform a sync prior to updating to 4.5.1 will result in the loss of data and the LodgeMaster team is unable to recover lost data.
